“Let’s Go To The Beach” Designer’s Challenge

 Welcome to another fabulous Design Team Saturday Challenge.

The Challenge…

This week’s challenge is hosted by Kim.

This Saturday’s challenge is “Let’s go to the BEACH!” and living in Hawaii that’s an all year round activity (sometimes even in the rain!) for us! So let’s see what beachy, tropical or even really summery creations you can come up with for this week’s challenge!

One lucky person will win a free image from the Designed2Delight Store. Winner is announced the Sunday after the challenge closes.

The Inspiration…

What a lovely scene Kim has created–I LOVE the colors!
I used several of Faith’s images for my sample. I’ve got “Tropical Summer” (which I used for the patterned paper on the front and cut out for the end of the tag), “Hula Island” (for the penguin and sun), Tropical Beach (for the palm trees), and Flip Flops (a freebie from a couple of weeks ago). The “aloha” stamp is from an old SU! set “Do the Hula”. The background is brayered with pigment ink. Find the tutorial for doing a Shadow Box Card here on SCS. Aloha, Kim Mc
