Here are the latest new Spring images, “Dancing Mice“, “Ladybug Kaela“, and “Spreading Sweetness.”
I have started to include white-filled .pngs with the new releases. These are perfect for layering in programs like Word and Powerpoint because there is no need to erase lines (so no need for photo editing software).
This format is also perfect for layering on top of digital designer paper.
The images also come as transparent .pngs—perfect for layering on top of digital paper for paper piecing. And the third format is the familiar .jpeg. Here are the differences between file formats:
This (above) shows the three different file formats placed over a digital paper I created. The .jpeg has a white box because there is no transparency. PNGs allow transparency, so you can layer the completely transparent .png over digital paper, print it out and use it for paper piecing. (Instead of running designer paper through your printer.)
White-filled .pngs are perfect to layer over digital paper that you want for a background–you can print it out and you still have a white image to color. Only the image is filled with white; the background is transparent. This is also perfect for layering images to create a scene as I did with both mice in the lower right corner.
Here is a beautiful card by Kristine Breach, where she layered the white-filled .png over digital designer paper, (in this card, the clouds and green plaid “grass”) printed it out, and was then able to color her image with Copics, because the image remained white. Awesome card, Kris!!

The following images are available now in my shop:

Dancing Mice comes with the mice together and as individual files; it also includes two quotes. The images come in the three file formats.

Ladybug Kaela comes in these four variations, plus each with and without a smile. Then those 8 all come in three file formats, plus the three formats of the individual flower. So the zipped download is 27 files–a very versatile set!

Spreading Sweetness comes with this image in the three file formats.
Happy Spring!!
